Battery Guide

BATTERY GUIDE (warranty, handling and safety):

Warranty: All batteries sold are covered by a 90 day warranty from the date of purchase. Please keep the voltage of all LiIon batteries above 3.8V for healthy storage. Recharge as soon as possible when you have run them down. Storing a depleted ( less than 3.6V open voltage ) battery may damage/ shorten life/cycle permanently.

SAFETY and HANDLING:

***DO NOT USE LiIon batteries if you don't know the dangers about them and how to handle them. on handling, charging, storage of LiIon batteries. Also bookmark http://batteryuniversity.com/learn/ for more info. Use at your own risk***

Use special caution when working with Li-ion cells, they are very sensitive to charging characteristics and may explode or burn if mishandled. Make sure the user has enough knowledge of Li-Ion rechargeable batteries in charging, discharging and assembly before use. Always charge in/on a fire-proof surface. Never leave charging batteries unattended. We only recommend using Lithium Ion rechargeable batteries with a control circuit (protection PCB) to assure safe charge, discharge, etc.

I strongly suggest you purchase a Digital Multi meter to check your cell status. Please Read MDs-Lithium-Ion-gt-Incandescent-guide-compatability-comparison-chart before orderingguide written by a CPF expert.

LiIon Battery Charge Status

4.2V 100%
4.1V 87%
4.0V 75%
3.9V 55%
3.8V 30%
3.5V 0%

IMR USERS:Attention : These IMR cells have much lower internal resistance than regular LiIon 3.7V cells and they may end up with a higher ending voltage when charged in certain chargers ( especially older version WF-139 charger ). Please check the voltage of them right out of the charger to see if they are above 4.20V when fully charged with your charger. Overcharging above 4.25V may shorten life/cycles. Above 4.50V may even pop them or making them leak. DO NOT use the charger if it seems to overcharge IMR cells.
