Shipping & Returns

What are the available shipping methods? offers United States Postal Services (USPS) shipping methods. Shipping cost is calculated based on shipping method that you choose and weight of the order. Customers are welcome to choose their preferred USPS delivery option via a selection box on the shopping cart page during checkout. 

We ship Domestically and Internationally. Shipping fee quoted on the checkout page is based on USPS pricing calculated based on your shipping address. 

In rare event when the shipping service to your destination / country cost more than what USPS calculated and an additional shipping fee is needed, we may contact you directly to discuss additional payment required to fulfill your order, if any.

International Deliveries Only:

This information is only relevant for deliveries made outside the United States of America.

We are sorry but due to new USPS regulations we are no longer shipping BATTERIES overseas via USPS, only UPS. Please, message for quote.

In case of international shipments, we are not responsible for any additional taxes or Import Duty.

For countries not served by USPS, you can contact us for further arrangements.

Please note that all shipments outside the USA may be subject to Import Duty / Tax / VAT which are levied once a shipment reaches your country.

As we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be, additional charges for customs clearance must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. Such charges are not included in the purchase price of NiteMods products. We will not be responsible for the payment of any Import Duty / Tax / VAT under any circumstances.

We are not able to offer a refund for returned goods which are returned because the customer wishes to avoid paying any customs duties imposed.

When ordering from you agree to pay any Import Duty / Tax / VAT which may be imposed by your country's government. If you refuse to pay any Import Duty / Tax / VAT imposed and thereby prevent delivery of your order you will remain liable for the purchase price of the product/s and any Import Duty / Tax / VAT or penalty imposed by your government.

Customs policies vary widely from country to country and customs duties are not always applied. Each country has its own rules for determining whether Import Duty / Tax / VAT will apply. Some countries only charge customs duties if the parcel has a value over a certain amount. Based on your country's customs rules, it is possible that your parcel will fall below that threshold level.

Therefore we ask that you contact your local customs/import/mail departments for rates before you place an order to avoid any surprises.

We cannot guarantee that items will not be subject to random checks and cause associated delays and charges. NiteMods is not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes. 

Returning a Merchandise?

Not satisfied with a product or shipment?

Contact us prior to returning a product. Provide us with order number, PayPal transaction number and explain problem with the order.  We may be able to solve it. State the reason for potential return. We will assist you.  

IMPORTANT: We do not accept returns of lithium battery packs or cells because they are so easily damaged. Any batteries returned to us must be discarded, as they have no commercial value. You do not want us to ship you a used battery. This is why we do not accept returns on batteries. We don't have any used cells in stock. Once they have been shipped they are considered used and non-returnable regardless of claims " I never charged them" or etc.... Please understand, we will take no risks on this issue. Any seller who accepts returns of batteries very likely accepts the unethical idea of reshipping "reconditioned" batteries.

You may return unused and unopened items to us postmarked within 30 calendar days of delivery*. In that case we will refund you the product price excluding all actual shipping fees already incurred. We will also apply restocking fee being 10% of the value of returned merchandise. Actual shipping fees incurred are determined by the weight of each returned product and by the way it was sent.

When returning products, it is recommended for customers to use a TRACKABLE METHOD OF SHIPMENT as NiteMods cannot be responsible for items lost while in transit.

Here is a quick checklist if you are returning unused and unopened products for refunding:

  1. The items must be unused and unopened.

  2. IMPORTANT: We do not accept returns of batteries !!!

  3. Contact us via this link, indicating you want to return a product. Provide order number, PayPal transaction number, the reason for return 

  4. A customer service staff will inform you of the actual shipping costs and restocking fees incurred (the non-refundable portion) and provide you with return address. Proceed and send the returning items to the address provided by a customer service representative. Note that the returning package must be postmarked within 30 calendar days of delivery (*see below for definition of delivery date). The customer is solely responsible for the cost of return shipping.

When your items arrive at our return office, a staff will check the product and proceed with the refund (or store credit at your discretion). Please allow 2 to 4 weeks for processing after your item is delivered at the product return office.

Is the product defective?

Please contact us and provide us with order number, PayPal transaction number and the explanation of a defect or a problem.  Once verified, NiteMods will reimburse you to cover your return shipping costs  and eventually reimburse your purchase.

For defective products (batteries are excluded), our customer care staff will send you a return address. Remember to follow instructions given for those cases.

If you are qualified for a credit on the return shipping postage, remember to carefully follow the RMA instructions and requirements.

*Definition of delivery date: for USPS packages, the delivery date is displayed on the courier's tracking site. For orders that do not have online delivery dates provided by the courier, the delivery date is assumed to be 14 calendar days after shipment.
